I have a pidgeon fetish. Ewa's mum always plys me with them when we visit, and then saddles us with a freezer full on leaving. Lubie gołąbki.

the palace of Versaille or national parliament? a legacy of the Prussian empire? No, it's the state office of one state among Polands 16. Ewa says there's so much paperwork in Poland there's even a word for it, 'papierologia,' which roughly translates as a universe of paper. yeehaaa. No wonder I only just received permission to work here legally, despite having arrived 7 months ago (and starting this whole process 6 months ago). oh Polish bureaucracy, kocham cie (i love you).
